Graphic Design Contest
The Sasquatch Brew Fest and the Northwest Legends Foundation is excited to announce a GRAPHIC DESIGN CONTEST for the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Sasquatch Brew Fest.
The 10th Annual Sasquatch Brew Fest is scheduled for May 12, 2012.
The Sasquatch Brew Festival also includes a beer dinner and a homebrew contest. Additional events will be scheduled to honor the 10th Anniversary.
Produced by the Northwest Legends Foundation, the Sasquatch Brew Fest provides proceeds from the non-profit beer festival to the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation, which then provides two professional brewing scholarships to worthy candidates each chosen by a committee.
The Sasquatch Brew Fest is dedicated to the memory of Glen Hay Falconer, a well known and leading Pacific Northwest professional brewer. Falconer was the skilled and popular head brewer at the Wild Duck Brewery in Eugene until his untimely passing in 2002.
We invite you to show your creative genius by creating a graphic for our 2012 event.
The graphic will be used on festival t-shirts, print advertising, posters, and additional collateral material created to advance the event.
The contest winner will receive two complementary tickets to the beer dinner, two complementary tickets to the beer concert (to be announced soon), and four complementary tickets to the Sasquatch Beer Fest.
All entries will be judged by a committee set up by the Northwest Legends Foundation. All entries must be received no later than by February 29, 2012.
* Design Guidelines:
Designs will be judged on originality and creativity, the ability to capture the essence of the festival with emphasis on BEER and the Sasquatch icon and theme. Elements to be added include the Sasquatch Brew Fest logo.
Because the design will be featured on a wide variety of material, please keep in mind that the final design should be obvious at a variety of sizes and uses. For example, the final design will be printed on 11”x17” color posters and 3”x5” black and white advertising.
The design should be in color. All designs should be legible in RGB color, CMYK color, and grayscale.
No self-promotion is allowed in the design.
Individuals may submit a maximum of TWO entries.
* Format for Consideration:
Entries must be submitted by EMAIL as a RGB color JPEG. 150-300 dpi. The winner will provide all Native Files (PhotoShop; enDesign; or CorelDraw plus fonts), as well as high resolution JPEGs.
* Deadline:
All submissions must be received by February 29, 2012.

* Entry fee:
There is no entry fee for this contest.
* Winner Selection and Announcement:
The committee chosen by the Northwest Legends Foundation will vote on the submitted designs to select the winner. The designs will be presented to the comittee without designer identification.
The contest winner will be selected by March 15, 2012 and notified by phone and by email on March 19, 2012.
The winner will be announced to the public on April 2, 2012.
