The Sasquatch Brew Fest Beer Dinner

Produced by the Northwest Legends Foundation, the Sasquatch Brew Fest Beer Dinner provides an opportunity for old and new friends to gather together and enjoy some of the best craft-brewed beers paired with delicious cuisine.

The dinner also features the announcement each year of the winners of the brewing scholarships, presented by Glen's brother Quentin Falconer of the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation.

The 2010 Sasquatch Brew Fest Beer Dinner will be held at the Eugene Hilton, located at 66 East 6th Avenue, on Friday, May 14, 2010.

The bar will open at 6 pm. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m.

2010 Sasquatch Brew Fest Beer Dinner Menu

First Course:

Slow Roasted Duck Stuffed Empanadas Served with Poblano Mango Dipping Sauce.

Fresh Mexican Bolleos Topped with Refried Black Beans, Fresh Avocado and Queso Chihuahua.

Warm Crab and Chyote Dip served with Tortilla Orjeas.

Second Course:

Butter Leaf Lettuce Drizzled with Orange Cumin Vinaigrette, Topped with Raw Jicima Chips, Mango Cubes, Fresh Cilantro and Pepitas.

Third Course:

Roasted Red Chili Soup Drizzled with Cilantro Oil and Garnished with Cumin Cotija Croutons.

Entrée Course Selections

1.) Achote Rubbed Chilean Grouper in a Pool of Yellow Pepper Reduction.

2.) Stewed Pork Shanks in a Red Mole garnished with Nopales and Chili Roasted Peanuts.

3.) Quinoa and Roasted Vegetable Stuffed Chili Rellenos in a Pablano Chili Sauce with Green Olives.

Entrée Course Sides (Served Family Style):

Rounds of Roasted Corn with Lime, Chili and Cotija

Purple Peruvian Potatoes in a Pool of Pepper Jack Crème Sauce

Dessert Course: Plated Trio:

Punta Chivato Burnt Sugar Flan.

Tapricotta with Peanuts, Dried Fruits and Sticky Cardamom Syrup.

Nieve De Tres Leches drizzled with a Chocolate Chili Sauce and Sprinkled with Cinnamon Crisps.
