2015 Sasquatch Brew Fest Live Music Schedule

The Sugarbeets featuring Halie Loren

What began as a weekend jam session among University of Oregon students in 1990 has become Eugene’s own community band creating the musical backdrop to countless celebrations, rites of passage, kickoffs, rallies and tributes. Woven from the foot-stomping traditions of Bluegrass, Celtic and old time fiddle music to the worlds of Motown, gospel, country, folk and pop, The Sugar Beets have been moving audiences all over the Northwest with original tunes and fresh and inspiring sounds.

Mexican Gunfight

Portland's Mexican Gunfight was formed in 2006 by four old friends and musical brothers in arms who had worked together in various combinations since around 1985. While definitely a rock band, the band's stylistic influences abound: blues grit, country lyricism, the soulfulness of gospel, a rare jam thrown in ... occasionally even tinges of Latin and jazz. Their decades of playing together in notable NW ensembles have honed these musicians' songwriting, chops, harmonies and dynamics into a unified, expressive and powerful whole.

Halie Loren Quintet

The first thing you notice is that voice: gorgeous, graceful, and somehow earthy and ethereal at once. It is an instrument perfectly matched to the songwriting talents of the artist who channels it — Halie Loren. Her music conveys the wonders of the invisible world: wounded defiance, stubborn love, hard-earned hopefulness. With purity of tone and rare interpretive prowess, she brings a fresh and original perspective to time-honored musical paths, channeling her innate understanding of connectedness across musical boundaries.

Douglas County Daughters

Douglas County Daughters creates an unexpected magic and charm on stage as sisters Emily West and Mollie Ziegler bring a lifetime of singing together to this Americana duet dedicated to the voice and the song.

Crowds delight in the weaving of close harmonies with heart-warming banter as the two slip between vintage songs and reminiscence of childhood in small town America.

2015 Sasquatch Home Brew Contest

The 2015 Sasquatch Home Brew Contest will be administered by the Cascade Brewer's Society. All applications will be posted here soon! Please click here to stay current with the Sasquatch Homebrew Content>>

The Sasquatch Brew Festival - a premier beer bash!

A portion of the proceeds will be provided to the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation, a non-profit organization staffed by Glen's family with a mandate to support craft brewing by providing brewing scholarships. Additional funds obtained from the beer bash will be presented by the Northwest Legends Foundation to Eugene-based non-profit organizations - again - in memory of Glen.

Please contact the Northwest Legends Foundation with any questions or comments.

The Northwest Legends Foundation will invoke the spirit of the legendary Sasquatch (Glen’s nickname) and the memory of Glen Hay Falconer, known as one of the most talented and popular brewers in Eugene, by furthering the art of home brewing through the support of the people who brew craft-brewed beer in their home, and by continuing the financial support of the brewing scholarships and the good works of the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation.

As a home-grown organization, the Northwest Legends Foundation will also continue funding area non-profits and organizations in spirit of our friend.

In addition to the Sasquatch Brew Fest, join us for the annual Sasquatch BrewAm at McMenamins Edgefield in Troutdale, Oregon.

Many thanks to the generous sponsors of the Sasquatch Brew Fest!
